speaking in code

I have been reading the code book for about a week now and have been completely fascinated about the history of cryptography. I was chatting with davo last night and he suggested I read cryptonomicon so looks like it may be a while before I get around to the rest of the patricia cornwell books or even the armistead maupin haul I won from queercompany. Who needs a wishlist?
