london tea for london people

now call me a cynic but when I went into the kitchen today to make a morning brew I was confronted with complimentary packs of ‘2 free tea bags’ from the London Cuppa Ltd. The blurb states ‘At last a tea specially selected and blended, in London for Londoners.’ So erm how does that work? When did London become the connoisseur capital for tea?

night off

I had a night off last night – I’ve been painting and decorating for the past [year/month/week] I’m not sure which applies but it feels like longer – so last night I refused to pick up a paint brush – and now I feel so much better.
Although I do want the flat to look nice.
It’s wierd though as all of my friends seem to be going through a decorating phase and DIY phase at the moment. I just had my hall carpeted and am now repainting – scally is just getting his done, andrew is having his lounge done… B&Q must be making a fortune 😉
